Bowling Returning To Senate District 16

Janice Bowling has been reelected and will return to District 16 in the state senate. Bowling received 75.9 percent of the votes with a final county of 66,312. Democratic Candidate Wayne Steele got second place with 15,909 votes. Independent Candidate Scott Bean came in third with 5,098 votes.

Senate District 12 Votes For Yager

Ken Yager won the race for State Senate District 12 by 85.6 percent. Yager received 77,231 votes from the nine counties represented in the district. Independent Candidate Charles Hutson II received 12,941 votes. Yager won the race in Fentress County by 88 percent.

Rose Keeps U.S. House District 6 Seat

U.S. Representative for District 6 John Rose was reelected to continue advocating for Tennessee at the national level. Rose defeated Democratic Candidate Lore Bergman with 225,426 votes, some 68 percent of the total ballots cast. John Rose won the race in White County by 84 percent.

Butler Holds Onto House District 41 Seat

Ed Butler has been reelected as Representative for House District 41 after winning 82.9 percent of the votes. Butler received 24,723 votes to defeat Democratic Candidate Joel Hawn, who saw only 5,107 votes. McMinnville Sees 1 New Aldermen, 2 Return

Sally Brock, Kara Youngblood and Rachel Kirby will serve on the McMinnville Board Of Aldermen. Brock won election Tuesday night with 25.68 percent of the vote. Emett Sherrill won the Crab Orchard Mayoral race, taking 62.9 percent of the vote. Michael Findley finished second. Winona Christopher took the seat on the Crab Orchard Board of Aldermen.
