The Tennessee Highway Patrol has identified a man who died in a two-semi accident on I-40 westbound Wednesday.
A THP crash report identified the deceased as 57-year-old Robert Baron Day of Greenville, South Carolina.
The report states the incident occurred in Cumberland County when Day’s 2016 tractor trailer rear-ended a semi driving at a slow rate of speed up a hill near mile-marker 315.
The report indicates Day was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The driver of the second tractor trailer did not suffer any injuries.
