Five Guys of Cookeville hopes to reopen late today or tomorrow due to a grease fire. Five Guys staff report that the fire was contained and extinguished. Staff must re-prep all food and equipment in order to reopen. No injuries were reported.

One Person Killed In Cumberland Co. Crash

A truck driver died following a crash in Cumberland County Wednesday morning. The accident occurred after two tractor-trailers collided on 1-40 westbound around mile marker 315 just after 6 a.m. Cumberland County EMA Director Rick Williams reports the interstate currently has one lane open. Names of those involved have not been released.
