An elderly man reportedly committed suicide on Cookeville’s Winston Drive Monday.
Cookeville Police declined to identify the man because his family hadn’t been notified yet.
Scanner traffic indicated a home health care worker reported the man had been been shot. The man was deceased when police arrived.
