A 45-year-old Cookeville resident faces charges following a Saturday night crash on Interstate 40.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol has charged 45-year-old Jossie Thorpe with DUI, open container, no insurance, and expired drivers license.
The crash happened at westbound mile marker 291 in Putnam County.
According to a THP crash report, Thorpe was driving a Volkswagon Jetta when the vehicle crossed the fog line and struck a tractor trailer sitting stationary in the emergency lane.
No one was injured in the crash.
