Law enforcement officers from all over the state are in Cookeville this week for training.
Sheriff Eddie Farris said it’s the first time the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office has hosted the event.
The Law Enforcement Training Officer’s Association will take place all week long at the Clarion Inn on Jefferson Avenue.
Trainers from law enforcement organizations across the state will learn new training methods. Instructors from across the country will conduct the sessions.
