A fourth resident of NHC Cookeville has died from COVID-19. The cluster outbreak at the Walnut Avenue facility has reached 33 cases with 17 patients and 16 employees testing positive. A spokesperson for NHC Healthcare said that extra precautions are being taken to prevent the continued spread of COVID-19 in the Cookeville facility.
