Tennessee Tech Details Mandatory Tucker Stadium Regulations

Tennessee Tech enforcing mandatory security and logistics regulations for Saturday’s first football game at the newly renovated Tucker Stadium.

The university is implementing a strict clear bag policy that limits fans to one clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bag measuring no more than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Fans may also carry a one-gallon clear freezer bag or a small opaque clutch purse that does not exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches.

The main parking lot located directly behind the stadium is strictly reserved for season ticket holders, suite holders, and ADA parking. Free general parking for the public is available across campus in the library lot, on McGee Boulevard, and in the lots between the Hooper Eblen Center and the soccer field.

Eagle Walk begins at 3:30pm followed by the opening of stadium gates at 4:30pm.

Tennessee Tech officials said items such as standard backpacks, camera cases, and non-clear purses are barred from entry into the facility. Pop-up tents, coolers, personal propane heaters, and drones are also strictly banned inside the stadium gates.

Tennessee Tech officials said diaper bags and medically necessary equipment bags are permitted but must undergo a full physical inspection at the gates. The stadium will maintain a strict no-reentry policy and has established set cutoff times for alcohol sales.

Tennessee Tech officials said additional parking spaces are located across Willow Avenue near the baseball and intramural fields for those attending weekend events. Utilizing a reserved tailgate spot solely for vehicle parking without actively tailgating is prohibited.
