T-DOT will begin repair work on a sinkhole adjacent to State Route 1 in White County Monday.
Repairs will take place just east of the Crickett and Thacker Road intersection. The lane closures will remain in effect continuously through 5:00 pm Thursday.
T-DOT officials said message boards are currently in place to alert drivers of the upcoming lane closures. All traffic control for the project will follow department and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices safety standards.
T-DOT officials said drivers traveling in the area should remain alert to trucks entering and exiting the work zone. These vehicles will be delivering rock and other materials throughout the repair period.
