The McMinnville Police Department and Homeland Security continue the investigation into the origin of a false active shooter report at TCAT McMinnville.
McMinnville Police Officers immediately responded to the campus Wednesday and determined the report was false after checking the facility. Officials said no one at the TCAT campus was in danger at any time during the incident.
McMinnville Police Department officials said the investigation is currently focused on the circumstances surrounding the call to determine how and where it originated.
Officials said the response included assistance from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Tennessee Highway Patrol, and Motlow State Community College Police Department.
