Cookeville Public Works will close a section of Freehill Road between Fenbrook Way and Choate Cemetery Road Monday and Tuesday to repair storm damage.
The department will restrict the section of road to through traffic for the duration of the project. Residents living within the boundaries of the closure will maintain access to their homes. Other motorists should plan to use alternate routes to bypass the work site.
Repairs involve both the roadway itself and the associated storm drainage infrastructure.
