An alert for Cumberland County parents about an unauthorized business claiming to offer after-school care at school facilities for the new school year.
Cumberland County Schools, he Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, and Crossville Police Department alerting parents Thursday about a local business advertising the program. The business claimed it would use multiple school facilities despite not having permission to do so.
Any parent who paid a holding fee/deposit to any other business claiming to utilize school facilities, should contact law enforcement.
Crossroads Academy is currently the only program with approval to use Cumberland County High School for the upcoming year. The school district has declined to name the unapproved business.
