A Putnam County resident fired a shot in the direction of a Sheriff’s Deputy Friday afternoon, but no one hurt.
The incident happened just before 1:00pm at 3475 Buffalo Valley Road. Deputy Kayla Jacob had responded to a trespassing call that had led to a disturbance. As Jacob was talking to one of the parties, a second party appeared to fire a gunshot from inside the home. Jacobs got the victims out of harms way.
The person inside the home now in custody. The investigation continues.
