Crossville City Council appointed Tiffany Lyon to serve as Municipal Court Judge Tuesday night following three rounds of voting.
Lyon replaces Ivy Gardner Mayberry who resigned effective September 30. The municipal judge serves a two-year term.
A total of five attorneys submitted letters of application for the position including Nathan Clouse, Kevin Poore, Hayden Shadden, Jeffrey Vires, and Brett York.
Poore received the most votes in the first vote of council members, but did not receive the majority.
