Senator Marsha Blackburn says she believes a resolution will soon be reached in the nation’s debt limit crisis.
Blackburn said there is always a resolution to this kind of situation and she has no doubt it will be worked out. She said most people feel like there will be some cuts and restraints in federal spending.
“Permitting reforms might possibly get done, some return to work incentives to get people back to work,” Blackburn said. “Those are the things people are expecting to see in the final deal.”
Blackburn and her colleagues had previously penned a letter to President Biden in January. They expressed opposition to a debt-ceiling hike without real structural spending reform that reduces deficit spending.
