City of Algood approved bids for its annual street paving projects Tuesday.
Mayor Lisa Chapman-Fowler said the roads include Mill Road, Mirandy Road, Quinland Lake Road, and 4th Avenue.
“There are always more roads than there is money to pay for them,” Chapman-Fowler said. “But we’re trying to chip away at this, no pun intended, every year.”
City Administrator Keith Morrison said they had budgeted about $140,000 for the bid. He said the work will include milling, sweeping, and asphalt paving.
