Six patients fighting COVID-19 died over the weekend at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Four were from Putnam County, one from Dekalb County and one from Knox County, according to Public Relations Director Melahn Finley. The pandemic death toll stands at 111.
As of Monday, the medical center is treating 72 patients for COVID-19 with six other patients quarantined with tests pending.
