A severe accident took place in Monterey at the Holly Street and Stratton Avenue intersection.
The accident involved a juvenile and adult. The adult was transported to Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Police Chief Bill Randolph said the accident Monday took place between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m.
Multiple emergency crews arrived on scene. A light pole was reported on the ground.
The accident investigation is ongoing.
