The number of patients testing positive at NHC Smithville has increased to nine.
Two additional patients are awaiting test results. Nine employees have also tested positive with two staff members already recovered. One additional employee is awaiting test results.
At NHC Sparta, one employee is awaiting results. Five staff members have tested positive with all but one recovered. No patients are being treated at Sparta, according to data from the NHC website.
The Cookeville facility reports one positive case currently.
Outbreaks at the McMinnville and Cookeville facilities have been contained over the last two weeks. Some 226 long-term care facilities are currently dealing with multiple cases currently.
