Kim Logan was re-elected as the Assessor of Property in Pickett County Thursday night.
Logan defeated Perry Garrett 879-453.
A number of offices were on the ballot in Pickett County that were uncontested. Kathy Mitchell was elected as the District 2 County Commissioner with 211 votes. Larry W. Beaty was re-elected as the District 3 County Commissioner, receiving 230 votes. Nathan Anderson will continue to represent School Board District 1, receiving 225 complementary votes. And Jerry Mitchell received 229 votes for re-election to the District 2 School Board seat.
920 of 3,949 registered voters cast ballots Thursday for a 23-percent turnout in Pickett County.
