A Gainesboro man died Saturday afternoon in a motorcycle accident along Jackson County’s Gladdice Highway.
64-year-old Alan Dwight Ramsey died when he lost control of his motorcycle as he tried to negotiate a left-hand curve. Ramsey’s cycle ran off the roadway to the right, striking a large rock. The motorcycle overturned.
The accident happened around 6:30pm Saturday night, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
