Crossville City Council approved a new independent contractors agreement Tuesday with Dr. Mark Fox to serve as city Medical Director.
As part of the new agreement, Fox will receive a city-owned vehicle to drive. The Council, in a recent work session, discussed covering the insurance on the city vehicle. The approved agreement includes that provision.
The council expanded the resources available to Fox in an effort to improve its emergency response and first responder care.
Also at Tuesday’s meeting, the council approved the issuance of bonds for the Catoosa Water Tank project. The project includes an $890,000 loan and $160,500 grant. The council also voted to approve a self-serve fueling terminal for the airport.
