The City of Crossville will conduct sobriety checkpoints Friday evening.
Checkpoints will be in areas of Latana Rd and Highway 127 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.
The City of Crossville Police Department is working in conjunction with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s office.
The purpose of the checkpoints is to place an effort in ending impaired driving.
The department advises caution while driving through the checkpoints. They suggest to not have your high-beam headlights on and always slow down when approaching one of the areas.
