The Cumberland County Commission has officially declared the 4 District School Board seat vacant.
Josh Stone resigned from the position earlier this year after moving out of the district.
The 18 member commission approved a motion Tuesday to fill the vacancy during their February 18 meeting. Anyone interested in serving the position can notify the county mayor’s office in writing by February 4.
