A Smithville man appears in court Thursday for charges of possessing images of children engaged in sexual activity.
67-year-old Rick Allen Meuer faces two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. He remains behind bars at the DeKalb County Jail on $30,000 bond.
Warrants allege that he possessed one image of a minor female and another image of a male child engaged in sexual activity. The report said Meuer admitted to having possession of the images.
