Fentress County authorities found a large quantity of cash and multiple types of drugs during a traffic stop on Thursday.
Melissa Byrd and Dallas Lavender faces several charges including possession of schedule, II, VI, and I drugs for resale.
A search of Byrd’s vehicle revealed $12,600 cash along with 9.8 grams of marijuana and a small amount of cocaine, crack cocaine, and Oxycodone pills. Officers also discovered 5 units of acid inside the vehicle.
Byrd has a $50,000 bond with Lavender’s set at $75,000.
