A judge has continued former Cookeville Police Officer Kyle Farley’s assault case until September 4.
Farley faces aggravated assault and domestic assault charges for allegedly striking his wife during an argument last year.
White County Judge Gary McKenzie modified bond for Farley last month, allowing the 29-year-old to have peaceful contact with his wife.
McKenzie continued the case Monday to allow more time for negotiations.
