The process of putting a new roof on the Putnam County Courthouse will begin this weekend.
County Mayor Randy Porter said construction will begin Saturday and last approximately three weeks. County office will be open normal hours during construction.
Broad Street will be closed Saturday between Washington and Jefferson Avenue for a crane to be set in place for construction. Porter said the closure will take place from 4 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Parking on the North side of the courthouse will be closed for the entire three week period.
