The TBI has canceled an endangered child alert for two Algood children.
Officials said officers safely located 1-year-old Kenna Allen and 4-year-old Konner Meadows at a home in Jackson County.
The agency issued the alert late Wednesday afternoon, fearing that children were with their non-custodial mothers.
The mothers have been identified as Sonya Allen and Tiffany Meadows.
Algood Police reported the Department of Children Services had not seen the children since February. DCS officials attempted several welfare checks on the children with no cooperation from the parents and no sight of the children.
The children have since been remanded to DCS custody for neglect and drug use by the parents.
