Deputy Finds $20k In Meth During Traffic Stop

Authorities discovered nearly $20,000 worth of methamphetamine during a White County traffic stop Tuesday.

41-year-old Christopher Frazier of Cookeville faces multiple charges including selling, manufacturing, and possessing meth.

Arrest warrants state Frazier was stopped by a White County deputy along Old Kentucky Road when the deputy suspected he wasn’t wearing a seat belt.

The report indicates Frazier initially denied the deputy’s request to search the vehicle but later agreed after an additional officer with a K9 arrived.

Officers discovered a black bag in the back seat of the vehicle with approximately one pound of meth. The report states an additional $4,400 was recovered from the vehicle as well.

Frazier has since been booked into the White County Jail under $500,000 bond with a court date slated for Tuesday, May 21.
