A Pickett County grand jury has indicted a Pall Mall man following a forged check investigation.
TBI officials charged 46-year-old Jonathan Davidson Wednesday on 12 counts each of forgery and passing forged writing.
The TBI began investigating multiple forged checks last October that resulted in funds being stolen from a Byrdstown lumber company.
The investigation revealed evidence that linked Davidson to the checks and the lost funds.
The grand jury returned indictments Monday that charged Davidson with the crime.
Authorities booked Davidson into the Pickett County Jail Wednesday under $500 bond.
