Upper Cumberland authorities have found a missing 85-year-old dementia patient.
The White County Sheriff’s Office announced Wednesday the unidentified elderly woman is safe and receiving medical treatment.
“I want to thank our deputies for the quick response and going above and beyond for every citizen of White County,” White County Sheriff Steve Page wrote. “The cooperation and respect from other agencies make these tense situations easier to navigate.”
The Sparta Rescue Squad, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and Tennessee Highway Patrol assisted in the search.
