State Representative Incumbent Paul Sherrell has won his re-election campaign in the state’s 43rd district.
Sherrell defeated Democratic challenger Les Trotman, who was endorsed by Cookeville Mayor and son-in-law Ricky Shelton.
Nearly three-quarters of voters in the district selected the incumbent Sherrell. He will once again represent the southern portion of the Upper Cumberland, specifically Warren, White, and Van Buren Counties.
