Marsha Blackburn is projected to represent Tennessee in the US Senate.
Republican Blackburn defeated Democrat Phil Bredesen with approximately 65 percent of the votes.
Blackburn formerly served as the U.S. Representative for Tennessee’s 7th congressional district since 2003.
