Monterey officials have announced a new Taco Bell will come to town.
According to Mayor Bill Wiggins, the restaurant will be built on Stratton Avenue near the Bank of Putnam County.
“This exciting news is a big boost to the effectiveness of our economic plan and reinforces our efforts to keep Monterey competitive, extraordinary, and on the move,” Wiggins said.
Wiggins expects more “positive economic development” annoucements in the near future.
The mexican-style restaurant is expected open in early to mid 2019.
