A dump truck overturned Thursday on Dekalb County’s Highway 96 injuring the Cookeville driver.
The accident happened near Center Hill Dam. THP reports Thomas Thurman driving a Mack Dump Truck along Highway 96. As he tried to negotiate a curve, Thurman lost control. The truck rolled over on its side and skidded for several feet.
The payload of gravel spilled onto the shoulder.
Thurman transported to the hospital. His injuries not believed to be serious.
