An event that benefits the Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation’s Pediatric Fund begins Sunday.
Restaurant Week will be going on through the 10th of March with a select number of restaurants offering special menu items and the proceeds going towards the foundation’s Pediatric Fund.
“The most common things we do with that fund are help children with transportation expenses for their family to get them to ongoing physical therapy, Cookeville Regional Charitable Foundation Director John Bell said. “We also help with very expensive pieces of medical equipment that their insurance won’t cover.”
