A DeKalb County grand jury has indicted a man for allegedly posting blasphemous notes on several church properties earlier this summer.
57-year-old Laddie Bill Jerrell is facing eight counts of desecration of a place of worship. According to the indictments, the incidents took place between May and July at a number of churches located in the county and at least two in Smithville city limits.
Police said Jerrells did not target specific denominations.
He will be arraigned in court on December 12th.
