The Tennessee valley Authority will try for a second time to conduct a planned power outage in Overton County this weekend.
Inclement weather postponed the outage last weekend, but TVA officials have rescheduled the outage for Saturday, November 4th.
The outage is expected to affect thousands of residents in Overton County communities. TVA said they will be disconnecting power to the Livingston substation in order to perform routine maintenance.
The interruption of power will begin at 1o:00 p.m. and last up to eight hours into Sunday morning.
