A Clinton County, Kentucky Grand Jury has indicted an Overton County man for leading the Tennessee Highway Patrol and Pickett County authorities on a high speed chase in August.
26-year-old Andrew Maxfield is charged with making terrorist threats, assault by striking a police vehicle, and reckless endangerment.
Authorities said Maxwell fled from authorities on Highway 111 and eventually entered Clinton County, Kentucky. The chase ended when Maxfield crashed head-on into Pickett County Sheriff Dana Dowdy’s patrol vehicle.
Maxfield will appear in court at a later date.
