Blood Assurance Donor Coordinator Trudy Cody said donating blood is an easy and free way to help victims of tragedy, whether they’re rebuilding from hurricanes or recovering from tragedies like the Las Vegas shooting.
Those donations also help people who have suffered tragedy here in the Upper Cumberland. Blood donations frequently help those receiving cancer treatments, patients in surgery and traffic accidents.
Donors are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
