A former Smith County deputy was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly removed items from evidence lockers for personal reasons.
Brandon McKae Marshall was fired after the allegations surfaced.
The Smith County Grand Jury indicted Marshall on two counts of official misconduct, two counts of theft and two counts of tampering with evidence.
He was booked into the Smith County Jail on $10,000 bond.
