A Cookeville woman will serve a lengthy prison sentence for selling methamphetamine.
Bobbye Sue Maddle has pleaded guilty to seven counts of selling methamphetamine, a schedule II stimulant.
Putnam County Criminal Court Judge Gary McKenzie has sentenced Maddle to serve two 15-year sentences and five 9-year sentences to be served concurrent.
“This is an example of perseverance paying off. It is this tireless dedication and teamwork mindset that make our Narcotics Division (and our Sheriff’s Office) successful,” says Sheriff Eddie Farris. “We are committed to working together to protect our county. We are actively seeking out those who produce and distribute illegal drugs. The work being completed by the Narcotics Division is not simply beneficial to the health and well-being of the county, it is essential.”
Farris said these specific types of methamphetamine investigations require an extensive investment of physical work, time, resources, and dedication.
