DeKalb County Sheriff Patrick Ray said he has no comment on a woman’s request to reopen her daughter’s death investigation.
Lauren Agee’s body was found in Center Hill Lake two years ago.
Her mother, Sherry Smith, has a petition signed by more than 10,000 people calling for law enforcement to reopen the case.
Agee was camping on a cliff with friends the night she died. Her death has been ruled accidental.
DeKalb Sheriff Ray said he would make a comment at some point in the future, but not Tuesday.
