The trial for a Clay County man charged with attempted murder and arson got underway today.
The charges against 29-year-old Ricky Lee York stem from a Clinton County, Ky. house fire that occurred in March of last year.
Authorities said three people occupied the home at the time of the fire, but all three managed to get out safely.
York’s trial is expected to take two days to complete.
