The Putnam County Board of Education will discuss the budget at its meeting Thursday.
Putnam County’s funds have been set, except for the school budget.
Director of Schools Jerry Boyd presented a budget two months ago with a $4.5 million gap in it. Thursday, the school board will review the third version of that budget.
The Putnam County Board of Education’s meeting normally takes place the first Thursday of each month. This meeting was rescheduled because of the Independence Day holiday.
