Construction may cause delays overnight Monday and Tuesday on I-40.
Mid-State Construction won the bid to repair the bridge over State Route 24. Monday and Tuesday, crews will narrow lanes on I-40 to allow for bridge repair. The work will take place overnight, beginning at 8 p.m. and continuing until 6 a.m.
Oversize commercial loads will have to exit the interstate to continue westbound.
Daily lane closures on SR 24 are possible.
The project should be completed in August.
