Two DeKalb County inmates will face more charges after engaging in a fight that left a correctional officer injured.
Authorities have charged 33-year-old Ryan Lee Walden with three counts of assault. 40-year-old Andy Joe Certain is facing a count of aggravated assault.
According to authorities, Certain and Walden got into a fight last week. At one point Walden turned and shoved one of the officers before grabbing another officer’s finger, causing it to bleed.
Walden is also accused of spitting in the face of one of the correctional officers.
Bond for Walden is $20,000. Certain’s bond is $10,000. Both will make a court appearance on July 6.
