Business owners across the area will receive a wage and benefits survey this month.
Cookeville Chamber of Commerce spokesman Zach Buckner said that survey will help new and existing businesses.
The survey results will help new and existing businesses know what workers in the area expect to make.
“It’s hard to hit a target if you don’t know what the target is, and so this will hopefully allow the businesses, know what kind of mountain they need to climb, to attract the proper workforce,” Buckner said.
Business owners will receive the survey through email or through letters, Buckner said.
Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association partnered with local groups to get the word out to businesses. The Cookeville Chamber is one of those groups.
