The Monterey Lions Club disaster response team will visit the home of a disabled veteran to assist with storm clean-up Tuesday.
Director Ken Hall said anyone who wants to volunteer can meet at Planet Fitness in Cookeville at 8:20 a.m.
“All they need to bring is a good pair of shoes and work clothes,” Hall said. “We have the gloves and the expertise, so we will direct them on what to do.”
The residence is located on Dyer Long Road in Cookeville. Hall said a number of trees fell on the man’s garage and around his property.
